Commitment against
Sexual Exploitation (CSEC)
Pursuant to Law No. 28251, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR) has created the policy against the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents (CSEC). Therefore, the CSEC code and Peru Manu Adventure Travel have an agreement for joint actions to prevent and eradicate this problem.
"We reject the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents (CSEC) in Peru and the world, in general and particularly in its form associated with travel and tourism, as it is a conduct that violates the fundamental rights of individuals and is contrary to the intrinsic objectives of tourism in our country."
We denounce and condemn those who use tourism activities, facilities, and services to promote, facilitate, or tolerate these acts. Peru Manu Adventure Travel signs this Code of Conduct as a formal declaration of free adhesion to establish standards that protect minors from all forms of exploitation and human trafficking.

Our Commitments
Maintain an ethical policy of rejection of commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents in the context of travel and tourism.
Inform and train staff on company policy regarding the prevention of CSEC in tourism and travel.
Maintain visible symbols to alert customers and suppliers of our position regarding the sexual exploitation of minors.
Include common rejection clauses for CSEC in all our contracts with tourism service providers.
Supplier Protection Clause
“Tourism promotes a childhood and adolescence without sexual exploitation; therefore, we do not accept any act that favors the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.”
